The non-phospho-V1B Receptor Antibody is directed against the distal end of the carboxyl-terminal tail of human V1B. It can be used to detect total V1B receptors in Western blots independent of phosphorylation. The non-phospho-V1B antibody can also be used to isolate and enrich V1B receptors from cell and tissue lysates. It also detects V1B in cultured cells and tissue sections by immunohistochemistry

Figure 1. Validation of the Vasopressin Receptor 1B in transfected HEK293 cells. Native HEK293 cells (MOCK) or HEK293 cells stably expressing the vasopressin receptor 1B (V1B) were lysed and immunoblotted with the phosphorylation-independent anti-V1B antibody (7TM0367N) at a dilution of 1:1000.
Figure 2. Immunohistochemical identification of Vasopressin Receptor 1B in kidney. Sections were dewaxed, microwaved in citric acid, and incubated with anti-V1B (Vasopressin Receptor 1B) antibody (7TM0367N) at a dilution of 1:100. Sections were then sequentially treated with biotinylated anti-rabbit IgG and avidin-biotin solution. Sections were then developed in 3,3-diaminobenzidine (DAB)-glucose oxidase and lightly counterstained with hematoxylin.
