The non-phospho-P2Y4 Receptor Antibody is directed against the distal end of the carboxyl-terminal tail of human P2Y4. It can be used to detect total P2Y4 receptors in Western blots independent of phosphorylation. The non-phospho-P2Y4 antibody can also be used to isolate and enrich P2Y4 receptors from cell and tissue lysates. It also detects P2Y4 in cultured cells and tissue sections by immunohistochemistry.

Figure 1. Validation of the P2Y Purinoceptor 4 in transfected HEK293 cells. Native HEK293 cells (MOCK) or HEK293 cells stably expressing the complement P2Y Purinoceptor 1 (P2Y4) were lysed and immunoblotted with the phosphorylation-independent anti-P2Y4 antibody (7TM0325N) at a dilution of 1:1000.

Figure 2. Immunohistochemical identification of P2Y Purinoceptor 4 in pancreas. Sections were dewaxed, microwaved in citric acid, and incubated with anti-P2Y4 (P2Y Purinoceptor 4) antibody (7TM0325N) at a dilution of 1:100. Sections were then sequentially treated with biotinylated anti-rabbit IgG and avidin-biotin solution. Sections were then developed in 3,3-diaminobenzidine (DAB)-glucose oxidase and lightly counterstained with hematoxylin.
