The non-phospho-A2A receptor antibody is directed against the distal end of the carboxyl-terminal tail of human A2A. It can be used to detect total A2A receptors in Western blots independent of phosphorylation. The A2A antibody can also be used to isolate and enrich A2A receptors from tissue lysates. It also detects A2A in cultured cells and tissue sections by immunohistochemistry.

Figure 1. Immunohistochemical identification of the A2A Adenosine Receptor in human cortex. Sections were dewaxed, microwaved in citric acid, and incubated with anti-A2A (A2A Adenosine Receptor) antibody (7TM0019N-IC) at a dilution of 1:100. Sections were then sequentially treated with biotinylated anti-rabbit IgG and avidin-biotin solution.Color was developed by incubation in 3-amino-9-ethylcarbazole (AEC), and sections were counterstained with hematoxylin.
Figure 2. Immunohistochemical identification of the A2A Adenosine Receptor in spleen.
Figure 3. Validation of the A2A Adenosine Receptor in transfected HEK293 cells. Native HEK293 cells (MOCK) or HEK293 cells stably expressing the A2A Adenosine Receptor (A2A) were lysed and immunoblotted with the anti-A2A antibody (7TM0019N-IC) at a dilution of 1:1000.
